TIRANA, April 18 – Prime Minister Edi Rama left the hospital on Tuesday to continue the recovery protocol at home, after the successful intervention to remove appendicitis the day before at the “Mother Teresa” University Hospital Center (QSUT).
Through a message on social networks, Rama thanked all those who are interested in his health, especially the team of doctors and nurses for their care.
“A heartfelt thank you to everyone who has taken an interest in my health these days. Thanks to the dedicated medical team, today I left the hospital after the successful intervention to continue the recovery protocol at home and I could not find enough words to thank the doctors and nurses for their care,” said the Prime Minister.
He concluded by saying that he believes in returning to work soon.
Prime Minister Edi Rama was diagnosed with acute appendicitis two days ago, after several imaging tests were performed at the QSUT. Based on the recommendation of emergency service doctors, the Prime Minister underwent surgery to remove appendicitis, which was a successful intervention. /Argumentum.al
