TIRANA, August 10 – Prime Minister Edi Rama was received in a meeting in Turkey on Wednesday by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
This was reported by Prime Minister Rama who said that facing the two challenges of the time – guaranteeing energy and basic foodstuffs, were the focus of the meeting.
“Meeting as always brotherly with President Erdoğan and concrete projects to face the two big challenges of the time, the guarantee of energy and basic foodstuffs,” said Prime Minister Rama in his post on social networks on Wednesday.
Rama arrived in Konya, Turkey, on Tuesday at the invitation of Turkish President Erdoğan to attend the opening ceremony of the Islamic Solidarity Games, where the Albanian Olympic team also participates. The Games started on Tuesday and 4,500 athletes from dozens of countries take part in them.
The Prime Minister informed that part of the agenda of this visit was also an important working meeting in Ankara on the progress of bilateral cooperation projects. /Argumentum.al
