TIRANA, December 12 – Prime Minister Edi Rama participated on Monday in the presentation of the project for the construction of the new commercial port of Durrës in Porto Romano by the prestigious Dutch studio “Royal Haskoning DHV”.
Rama said during the speech in this presentation that Durrës will give this region a new face, taking the commercial standard to another level through Pristina and Struga.
“It is Durrës, which, starting from the integration with Kosovo and North Macedonia through Pristina and Struga and then extending to all other countries, will give this region a completely different face and a completely different capacity for processed brand new commercial volumes,” said Rama.
On the other hand, he noted, this is a port that takes regional cooperation, started with 1001 difficulties, to a completely different level.
“This project will be simultaneously the project with the highest standards of professionalism in the design and with those standards of transparency and quality throughout the competition process that have also characterized the very successful international competitions organized by the Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy,” said Rama. /Argumentum.al
