TIRANA, October 12 – Prime Minister Edi Rama said in the plenary session of the Assembly on Thursday that the Socialist Party was in favor of the adoption of the resolution, aligning itself 100% as a sign of solidarity with the Assembly of Kosovo.
“We will approve this, quite simply, we will align ourselves 100% as a sign of solidarity with the Assembly of Kosovo and we will vote on how our government should continue its efforts and why we encourage the sister government of Kosovo in its non-negotiable efforts for final peace,” said Rama.
Addressing the opposition MPs, Rama asked them why they have not brought any draft resolution to call on the democratic world to investigate the source of the judicial process against former president Hashim Thaçi and three other commanders of Kosovo Liberation Army.
Rama touched upon the relations he has with each of the leaders of Kosovo, emphasizing that with the current Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, there is worldview divergence on how to reach the common national goal.
Rama said that Albin Kurti is more of a friend than Ramush Haradinaj, with whom in a certain segment of this journey he was in a personal conflict, when he was prime minister. /argumentum.al
