TIRANA, June 25 – After sending a letter on the Kosovo-Serbia conflict to the President of France, Emmanuel Macron and the German Chancellor, Olaf Scholz, Prime Minister Edi Rama continues the efforts to achieve dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia.
This is the reason of his visit to Brussels on Monday where, as it is reported by TV Klan, he will hold a meeting with the President of the Council of the European Union, Charles Michel, and the main issue of discussion will be the normalization of relations between Pristina and Belgrade, and the need to arrange a meeting between Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic and Kosovar Prime Minister Albin Kurti.
But on the same day, Kosovo and Serbia will be the main topic because of the meeting of EU foreign ministers that will be held in Luxembourg. The high representative of the EU, Joseph Borrel, will report on the situation between Pristina and Belgrade, as well as the path to be followed in the following days.
On June 27, Charles Michel will hold a video conference with the EU heads of state, where the tensions between Belgrade and Pristina will be discussed.
In the text of the draft conclusions which has been prepared to be approved at the meeting of EU leaders on June 29-30, the European Council will also request the implementation of the Agreement on the path towards the normalization of relations that was reached in Brussels in end of February as well as the annex of its implementation, reached in Ohrid in March. /argumentum.al
