TIRANA, May 7 – Ambassador Alastair King-Smith hosted on May 6 a reception at the British Residence to mark the coronation of King Charles III and Queen Camilla.
According to the British Embassy announcement on social networks, this was an opportunity to celebrate the new King of Britain and also the strong relations between Albania and the United Kingdom.
In his greeting speech Ambassador Alastair King-Smith said they gathered to celebrate that special moment for King Charles III and Queen Camilla. According to him, this event is also about the Albanians – the British Albanian partners in institutions, business and civil society. Today the United Kingdom shows its gratitude for all they have done to strengthen the partnership, he told the guests.
