TIRANA, September 21 – The Police of Tirana continue the search for the capture of 42-year-old Klered Bozhanaj, 42 years old, who tried to kill a police officer in a shootout in a neighborhood in Tirana on Wednesday evening.
The Tirana Police, through a press release on Thursday, announced that “the intensive search for the capture of the author of the incident that occurred on “Hysen Xhura” street, citizen Klered Bozhanaj, 42 years old, continued last night and today. He tried to kill the police officer with a gun.”
“Police services have checked dozens of apartments in the cities of Tirana, Elbasan, Durrës and Vlora and will continue the intensive checks until he is caught,” the announcement said.
“The police ask for continued cooperation, inviting citizens to provide information about the author of this event and set a reward of 20,000 euros for any valuable information that will lead to his capture. The Local Directorate of the Tirana Police puts at the disposal of the citizens the phone number 0694111546, guaranteeing the complete anonymity of every caller,” the announcement concluded.
Police officer E. A was wounded by a gunshot yesterday evening, while he was on duty performing checks in the Kinostudio area in Tirana. The police identified Klered Bozhanaj, 42 years old, as the author of the incident. /argumentum.al
