TIRANA, November 11 – The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, spoke at the Peace Forum in Paris, saying that Serbia cannot talk about the exchange of territories as private property.
Kurti said that the tensions in the North of the country continue after the dialogue with the Serbian president has failed.
“We are living in the time where this land exchange project has failed, but the idea is not dead yet and I see it very often wherever I meet or listen to the president of Serbia (Aleksandar Vucic), who speaks publicly and engages in dialogue discussions in Brussels, because fantasies may not be real, are conditioning thinking and behavior,” he said.
According to Kurti, this territory exchange project has also had partners in Kosovo, including one of my predecessors (Hashim Thaci), since at that time it was seen as an adjustment, a quick fix between authoritarian leaders who speak of the people as their families and who talk about the territories of their state as if they were private property. /argumentum.al
