State Minister for Parliamentary Relations Elisa Spiropali has accused deputy chairman of Democratic Party (DP) Jorida Tabaku of playing the role of communist-era prosecutor.
Tabaku, head of the parliamentary investigation commission on the incinerators’ scandal, has recently been very active in public denouncing of the alleged involvement of Socialist authorities.
In her pronouncement carried by local media on Saturday, Spiropali asked the number two of DP to put a question to the person (DP chairman Lulzim Basha) that she has by her side if he can cross the border of Albania.
“How come that Ms. Tabaku is not ashamed when she plays the role of the type of prosecutor during the communist era and meanwhile loses trial after trial for defamation,” she said.
Spiropali did not understand how Tabaku does not blush and how she does not bother when mentioning millions of euros as if there were 5000 delegates in 2000 seats of the Palace of Congresses for the election of the DP hierarchy,” said the minister. /argumentum.al
