Democratic Party (DP) Deputy Chairman Jorida Tabaku has said that they will submit a new lawsuit to the special authority on serious crime, SPAK, regarding the incinerator affair. According to Tabaku, there are 112 pieces of evidence proving the government’s violations, while she required the commitment of this structure to investigate further.
“A report of the majority has been submitted which contains evidence, facts, minutes and all the results we had from the Commission of Inquiry, which shows how the procedure was ignored. On the majority side we had a 44-page report that failed to prove what they claimed. “Part of the opposition in coordination with (PM Edi) Rama did not vote for the commission’s report,” Tabaku said on Friday.”Albania is in a deep crisis while the concessionaire receives money from the state budget. The lawsuit we have prepared is final based on the work of the Commission of Inquiry and we submit to SPAK 112 pieces of evidence showing how the government of Edi Rama has operated as a structured criminal group,” she said. According to the number two of the DP, Friday’s lawsuit involves 50 people, including enforcement members, who have helped, supported, favored three concession companies.Tabaku questioned where the money has gone.
“Three individuals without any experience, capital, with the only characteristic that they were friends of the people in power receive 430 million euros by violating the procedure,” concluded Tabaku./Argumentum.al
