TIRANA, March 15 – The meeting of the socialist parliamentary group held under the leadership of Edi Rama on Wednesday focused entirely on the preparation for the May 14 election campaign.
Ruling Socialist Party (SP) Chairman Edi Rama has asked for a maximum commitment of all deputies by interacting with the political leaders of the SP in the districts.
Rama told the parliamentary group that these are different elections, delicate elections as well as political elections.
The local media quoted socialist sources as saying that as in previous meetings of the socialist leadership political leaders have presented polls measuring the popularity of candidates for mayors and councilors for municipal councils.
On March 25, the meeting of the chairmanship of the Socialist Party will be held where the candidates who will compete in the May 14 elections will be approved. /Argumentum.al
