TIRANA, July 26 – The meeting of the National Assembly of the Socialist Party (SP) lasted an hour after the start of its deliberations as announced on Wednesday, and as media sources announced the National Assembly made two important changes in the leadership structures of the ruling party in Albania.
Thus it is reported that Blendi Klosi has taken the position of General Secretary, which was held until today by Damian Gjiknuri.
Meanwhile, after the appointment of Taulant Balla as the Minister of the Interior, Bledi Çuçi took his place at the head of the parliamentary group of the SP.
At the end of the work, Prime Minister Edi Rama did not give a statement to the media, while Bledi Çuçi briefly stated when asked by journalists about the new position that it is a big responsibility.
The National Assembly of the Socialist Party which was convened after one year will be followed by another meeting two days later, when the informal meeting of the government will be held in Tepelena, southern Albania, on July 28 and 29. /argumentum.al
