The candidate of the House of Freedom coalition, Bardh Spahia said on Monday in a statement to the media after winning the mayoral election in Shkodra thata new journey begins in Shkodra and great change throughout Albania after the local elections.
“On this historic day, a day of hope for all Albanian democracy, for the true Albanian opposition and not only of Shkodra, I want to start with a heartfelt thank you to all Democrats, to all citizens of the municipality of Shkodra for the appreciation that they gave through their vote,” said Spahia.”I also thank our allies for the loyalty with which we made this journey together, the allies of the House of Freedom,” he said.Spahia also thanked the citizens of Shkodra, to whom he guaranteed that “from tomorrow I will be the mayor of all the citizens of Shkodra”.
“I have a call for those who did not choose to vote for me and especially for those democrats who probably lost their way for a few moments: Our door, the door of the majority, will always be open, for all true democrats, Shkodra and not only.
