TIRANA, November 4 – Chief Prosecutor Altin Dumani and other fellow prosecutors from the prosecution authority for anti-corruption and serious crimes, SPAK, finished on Saturday their study visit to the United States of America and are expected to return to Tirana, according to a report released by the US Embassy in Tirana.
They have been accompanied to US by members of the Embassy’s Office of Overseas Prosecution Development, Assistance and Training (OPDAT) team.
During the days they have been in the US, the prosecutors of the highest prosecution institution in Albania have met with some of the highest American officials on matters of law enforcement.argumentum.al
Chief Prosecutor Altin Dumani and members of the delegation met, among others, with Deputy Assistant Attorney General and Counselor for International Affairs Bruce C. Swartz, as well as State Department Coordinator for Global Anti-Corruption, Richard Nephew. The delegation also met with the Drug Enforcement Administration’s (DEA) Special Operations Unit. /
