TIRANA, November 19 – The Speaker of the Assembly, Lindita Nikolla called on the citizens of Tirana and all of Albania on Saturday to turn the day of the EU Summit in Tirana into a day of celebration and national responsibility and not to go after a man who does not even spare Albania because of his own troubles and under the pretext of political war against the government
“As Speaker of the Assembly of Albania, I have respected and will continue to respect the opposition and promote its access and performance in the Assembly and in political life,” said Nikolla.
But, according to her, when it comes to the dignity of Albania, no one can remain silent.
Nikolla said that Sali Berisha does not attack the Government and the Socialist Party, but muddies Albania and the Albanians with the adventure of December 6.
“With his calls and actions, Sali Berisha tarnishes the European roots and identity of Albanians and seeks to put obstacles in Albania’s European journey,” Nikolla said. /Argumentum.al
