Speaker Lindita Nikolla received on Tuesday in a meeting the Ambassador of Italy to Tirana, Fabrizio Bucci, who reiterated his will to expand the successful cooperation with Albania in all sectors.
Congratulating Nikolla on her election to the high office, Bucci said that “the relations between our two countries are unique and special and we will work to intensify them.”
Speaker Nikolla thanked Ambassador Bucci for the congratulations and noted that the Parliament will do its best to promote cooperation between the two countries.
“With the opposition in the Parliament, Albania is moving towards normalcy and the Parliament will convey the new climate of political cooperation. We are grateful to Italy for its support as a lawyer in our European journey, for its comprehensive contribution to the development of Albania and for the fact that it has become the second home of hundreds of thousands of Albanian emigrants,” Nikolla underlined. / argumentum.al
