SP’s Number Two Questions Silence of DP’s Basha on US Praise for Judge Dvorani

The head of the Socialisy Party parliamentary group, Taulant Balla has reacted through a Facebook post regarding Wednesday’s statements of President Meta.
Balla wrote that there is no doubt that Meta has been and continues to be against the Justice Reform, while asking why the leader of the opposition Democratic Party, Lulzim Basha, is late in his reaction to welcome the US decision to declare Judge Ardian Dvorani champion of the fight against corruption.
“Are you in an alliance with Ilir Meta against the new Justice, or are you on the right side together with the US and the EU to advance the Justice Reform?” Balla questioned.
The US State Department has included Judge Ardian Dvorani, former head of the Justice Appointments Council, among 12 worldwide “anticorruption champions” for his work with justice reform in Albania.
This praise was applauded by PM Edi Rama.
