TIRANA, August 28 – The participation in the Bled forum in Slovenia of Prime Minister Edi Rama and his counterpart Albin Kurti has given them the opportunity to break the ice and have a tete-a-tete meeting on Monday.
Albania’s ambassador to Kosovo, Qemal Minxhozi, told Report TV that the two prime ministers had a tete-a-tete meeting in Bled, and that Prime Minister Albin Kurti will attend the summit of the Berlin process to be held in Tirana on October 16.
This is the first meeting between the leaders since the cancellation of the meeting of the two governments expected to take place in Gjakova on June 14.
In the meantime in his reply to Serbian PM Ana Brnabić who declared at the forum in Bled that Kosovo and Serbia are a single state, premier Albin Kurti said this is a confusion between fantasy and reality because Serbia has not even distanced itself from Milosevic or Putin.
“EU support is 94% in Kosovo. We have imposed sanctions against Russia, Serbia has not, it did not distance itself from either Milosevic or Putin, so it is not easy for us. Normalization with Serbia is many times more difficult. Normalization from a psychological point of view means confusion between fantasy and reality,” said Kurti. /argumentum.al
