TIRANA, August 3 – The 34th phase of the anti-cannabis police mega-operation coded “Clean Territory” is finalized. During the five-day period of this phase, hundreds of narcotic cannabis plants were destroyed that were found cultivated in different villages of the Kruja mountainous areas.
The above information was announced by the Tirana Police on Thursday, according to which 22,973 cannabis narcotic plants were found and destroyed in the frame of this operation.
“The branches of the Kruja Police Station have intensively followed the controls in the highlands of Kruja and in various villages of the district, using drones in order to prevent, identify and attack the criminal activity of cultivating narcotic plants. As a result of controls carried out in the frame of the 34th stage of the anti-cannabis police mega-operation coded “Clean Territory” in the highlands of Kruja, 910 suspected cannabis sativa narcotic plants were found cultivated, which were destroyed by burning,” police said.
The anti-cannabis police mega-operation codenamed “Clean Territory” continues. The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor’s Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Tirana for further actions, said the Tirana Police. /argumentum.al
