TIRANA, August 26 – The Polish tourists who were taken to the emergency room of the Vlora hospital on Friday with gastrointestinal problems are in good health.
This was confirmed by the Minister of Health and Social Protection, Ogerta Manastirliu on Saturday, who shared a photo of them leaving the hospital premises in Vlore, south of Albania on social networks.
Manastirliu expressed her gratitude to the emergency medical teams of the Vlora Hospital and the Fier Memorial Hospital, for providing medical assistance in ‘record’ time to the Polish tourists, who have left both hospitals in good health.
The group of Polish children had traveled from Shkodra to Vlora on Friday, where they took the ship to Karaburun. In the evening they went to the Vlora hospital with gastrointestinal disorders.
The Regional Directorate of the National Food Authority of Vlora has immediately started the epidemiological investigation, while the health structures have taken immediate measures according to medical protocols. /argumentum.al
