The German Bundesrat has voted to recognize the Albanian driving licenses. The news was given on Friday by Prime Minister Edi Rama, who said that this is a meaningful confirmation of the radical transformation of this sector into a system with European standards de facto certified by the inspection missions of the German government.
The German Bundesrat is a legislative body that represents the sixteen Länder (federated states) of Germany at the federal level (German: Bundesebene).
Rama called the decision of the German parliament good news.
“Finally, the German Bundesrat voted to recognize the Albanian driving licenses after passing in the parliament of each state,” said the PM, who stressed that this is a meaningful confirmation of the radical transformation of the sector from the total mishmash of 8 years ago to a system with European standards de facto certified by German government inspection missions. / Argumentum.al
