TIRANA, June 16 – Prime Minister Edi Rama said on Friday that the three Kosovo police employees should return home and that the solution offered by the Euro-Atlantic community is the historic opportunity on the table to close a very long and painful chapter and to open a new chapter, and to make Kosovo an internationally recognized country not only by those who recognize it until today, but by everyone, including Serbia.
Prime Minister Rama made that statement at the joint press conference with the Prime Minister of Hungary, Viktor Orbán in Tirana on Friday.
Rama said that the Albanian government is focused on this point and that it is using all possible channels to achieve this. “We are focused from the first moment to make this possible, we are using all possible channels to make this happen as soon as possible,” he said.
Regarding the question of finding a common solution, Rama said that the common solution is the solution offered by the Euro-Atlantic community.
“The joint solution is the solution offered by the Euro-Atlantic community, with very clear and immovable points, as you see day by day, of de-escalation. And what is most important for our interest is that peace is on the table,” said Rama.
“And today the Euro-Atlantic community has given Kosovo a golden opportunity. And the proposal on the table supported by the EU and the US is the best thing that can happen to Kosovo,” declared the Albanian Premier. /argumentum.al
