Ukrainian citizens have the right to enter Albania and live without a residence permit in this Balkan country for a period of up to one year.
This was decided by the government which endorsed a decision on this on Friday.”Citizens of Ukraine have the right to enter and stay without a residence permit in the Republic of Albania for a period of up to 1 (one) year,” said the government decision which was published by local media on Friday.This decision enters into force after its publication in the “Official Gazette” The Ministry of Interior and the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs are in charge of implementing this decision.
Some 351 citizens from Ukraine are already in Albania since the start of the war. They have been accommodated in Vlora, southern city. /Argumentum.al
