Dritan Abazovic, who is mandated for the formation of the new government in Montenegro, has said that he expects that right after the local elections in the two Montenegrin municipalities there will be progress in the formation of the minority government, reported the Montenegrin Radio and Television, ROCK on Sunday.
“I personally think that certain parties have wanted to make calculation for the local elections. It is not something unexpected, it is not something that is not known. I have no problem with that,” Abazovic told reporters in Ulcinj.
The state, he was quoted as saying, needs government. “As for the one who is mandated, the prime minister is ready. I will not accept blackmail and the desire of someone else to form the government and I am very optimistic. Optimism is very grounded,” Abazovic said.
Further he said it is not good to block someone’s ideas while talking about the new opposition. “If Montenegro needs a European government, we can have it tomorrow. If someone does not want a European government, but wants to push this country into the abbys, then he must be identified by name and surname and there are no problems,” said Abazovic.
