Yuri Kim has said reiterating her appeal to Albanian authorities to speed up procedures for the country to have a
a functioning Constitutional Court by the end of December this year.
In a post on Twitter on Friday Kim hailed Thursday’s meeting of the Judicial Appointment Council (JAC) which as she said shows cooperation of JAC, Presidency and Parliament to act with urgency in accordance with the Venice Commission’s opinion.

On November 25, Washington’s top diplomatic envoy to Tirana promised publicly that she would extend deserved credit to President Ilir Meta, Speaker Gramoz Ruci and JAC Chair Vitore Tusha if members of the Constitutional Court are appointed by the end of this year in Albania. /argumentum.al
