The US Embassy has commemorated the tragedy of two years ago when a 6.4 magnitude earthquake struck Albania on the morning of November 26, 2019.
In a Twitter post, the embassy wrote on Friday that the US was proud to stay with Albanian friends to help that day.

“Two years later, we remember that early morning when a devastating earthquake struck Albania. We remember the 51 victims and honor the resilience of Albanians in the face of disaster. The US was proud to stand with our Albanian friends to help on that day and ever since.”
