TIRANA, July 30 –The American embassy in Tirana said on the UN’s World Day against Human Trafficking on Sunday that it cannot be allowed for the crime of human trafficking to face growing disregard and impunity.
Human trafficking is a horrific crime that violates human rights and knows no borders. Global crises, conflicts and climate emergencies are leaving more and more innocent people, especially children, vulnerable to traffickers, said the reaction of the US embassy in Tirana.
According to the embassy, to end human trafficking we must work together to protect the vulnerable, prosecute perpetrators and eradicate human trafficking in all its forms. /argumentum.al
