The historic leader of the right- wing Democratic Party (DP), Sali Berisha has unveiled that the Paris Court has accepted his lawsuit against the US State Secretary, Antony Blinken and invited him to send facts and evidence to prove the act of declaring him persona non grata under the accusation of corruption.
Berisha made that announcement in a meeting with Democrat rank-and-file as part of his tour in the frame of Foltore in the town of Kavaja, a DP stronghold, on Tuesday.
“I want to share with you for the first time the news that the Court of Paris has accepted the lawsuit of Sali Berisha. I invite the Secretary of State, Antony Blinken to send to the Court of Paris any evidence, fact or document he has about Sali Berisha. But I guarantee you that there are zero,” said Berisha. “I had solved my problem. I have chosen the path and here before you I will say ‘Long live justice!’.”
The former PM told the participants at the rally he went to them late on Tuesday because PM Edi Rama with his family charlatan (Lulzim Basha) chose to block his way to delay his arrival in Kavaja. “From this rostrum I tell him to give up these low acts because he will absolutely be locked in Surrel (Rama’s house) and he will not go down to his office until we decide,” said Berisha.
Further on he praised the people of Kavaja for their anti-communist resistance amidst enthusiasm of the participants.
Berisha said ‘Foltore’ is the missionary journey to overthrow the narco-state. “This Foltore marks the beginning of our new journey, a missionary journey towards the overthrow of the narco-state and the restoration of democracy… The Foltore was born from your ideals, from your hearts, from your soul. It is for Albanians a light of hope, a great call to rise and raise Albania from this swamp where it has been plunged by the regime of Edi Rama,” said the former PM.
Berisha stressed that returns have always been victorious, and Democrats are on time to go ahead. “Returns have always been victorious, returns have always been great successes, because they are the spiritual call of men and women, boys and girls for a free and prosperous Albania,” he said, adding that Basha has violated the party statute because he is hostage of Rama.
Further he launched the appeal that protests and only protests are indispensable and the DP would be revived. Berisha declared that protests will start and will not stop until the final overthrow of Edi Rama.
Berisha stressed that Basha is taken hostage as DP chairman who does not know resignation. “No one can trust in a disloyal person as Lulzim Basha. He is without hope,” said Berisha calling on the delegates of Kavaja to sign the petition for the convening of the DP Assembly.
Berisha concluded by saying that Democrats will come to power with the appeal that honest men and women of the country will resurrect Albania. Foltore ended with the repeated call on Berisha to return to the helm of the Democratic Party, while it was announced that the next leg of the tour will be the northern town of Lezha.
