The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti and Deputy Prime Minister Donika Gërvalla have held a press conference at Prishtina International Airport “Adem Jashari”, on the first day of the entry into force of visa liberalization for our country.
On this occasion, Kurti said that from today a great injustice is being removed, and an important right is being gained. As he also added that the passport of Kosovo has been strengthened.
He emphasized that today 50 citizens will travel to Vienna, who won this opportunity as part of the Government’s campaign.
This morning in 2024, the government of Kosovo has organized the first visa-free trip for the 50 winners who won the trip to Vienna, Austria. This quiz was organized by the government of Kosovo for the European Union as part of an information campaign by the authorities for the liberalization of visas for Kosovo.
Visa liberalization enables citizens of Kosovo, who have biometric passports, to stay up to 90 days – within six months in any of the 27 member states of the Schengen area.
