Albania will host the Western Balkans Leaders Summit in the frame of the Berlin Process this year.
The last time the Summit was held in Sofia, Bulgaria, and it was co- chaired together with Skopje while it is Tirana’s turn on June 10.
It is learned that the Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama together with the EU Commissioner for Enlargement, Oliver Varhelyi will chair the Summit.
The 6 leaders of the Western Balkan countries will discuss the projects that benefit from the Berlin process.
This year is important for two of the Western Balkan countries such as Albania and North Macedonia awaiting the holding of the first intergovernmental conference to mark the opening of accession negotiations with the EU.
As the information is made available in short notice there’s no detailed agenda of the Summit.
