Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama has turned back on his ambition to rule this Balkan country beyond 2030 after his victory of April 25 general elections.
Rama made that comment while publishing on Saturday pictures from the new school in the neighborhood "5 May" in Tirana, where 1500 students will study.
The new school is being built with modern standards in a new urban area in the capital, which is being rebuilt after the earthquake of November 26, 2019.
The new neighborhood was designed by Italian architect Stefano Boeri, which is being built from the ground up for 11,000 inhabitants, and will be turned into a new polycentric center in Tirana.
"Even the new school in the neighborhood "5 Maji" is being built for 1,500 students along with preschool, 9-year-old and high school in a new urban area, which like all those where we are rebuilding after the earthquake will be the vision of our ambition for Albania 2030," said Rama.
The area, according to him, will have a new approach to urban, economic and social development with modern infrastructure and guaranteed access to quality public and private services, from schools and kindergartens to commercial units, with parks and sports facilities, as well as state institutions. / argumentum.al
