TIRANA, August 6 – The Chairman of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta, has published a video evidence of how high government officials, such as Eranda Selmanaj, Director General of the Agricultural and Rural Development Agency (AZHBR), lie publicly about “non-involvement” in the scandal of the incinerators.
Former President Ilir Meta said in a post on social media on Saturday: “Listen to how the director of AZHBR openly lies to the representative of Farmers’ Associations, Ervin Resuli, about the implication in the incinerator affair. That is why agriculture is in misery because AZHBR also prioritizes supporting the incinerator affair,” Meta emphasized. Resuli stated that it appears to him from the media and the documents that have been served that Director Selmanaj has benefited from the corrupt scheme. “However, that remains a matter of time,” he said.
Files revealed by Meta, which include video messages and written forms, showed her involvement profiting huge amounts.
Every passing day brings to light evidence that a large number of officials had been involved in the mega corrupt affair of incinerators which, as chairman of the Democratic Party Sali Berisha declared on Friday, will be in the epicenter of the opposition’s wave of anti-government protests in September.
