Lulzim Basha was dismissed by the Assembly of Democrats on December 11 last year, and it is an indisputable fact that he is not chairman of the Democratic Party (DP) anymore.
This was declared by the member of the Re-establishment Commission of DP, Oerd Bylykbashi, in a talk show on a local TV on Wednesday.
Bylykbashi said that Basha has already been opposed by other MPs who demand his resignation. Among other things, he said that the Court is taking time for the legality of the DP statute to give more time to Basha something which PM Edi Rama wants.
“The court has taken time to give Basha more time because Rama wantse the situation to be as it is in DP. Rama needs Lulzim Basha in that chair. The logo and others have changed, as well as the statute,” said Bylykbashi.
According to him, the Assembly has not given time or ultimatums to Basha, and membership did not give Basha time.
“By referendum, 44,000 members went to the polls and 43,000 of them fired him,” Bylykbashi said. /Argumentum.al
