As vaccination with the anti COVID-19 has begun in Russia and Argentina and more than 50 countries around the world have applied to buy 1.2 billion doses of the drug, Russia is apparently ready to bring its “Sputnik-V” vaccine to Albania, too.
This has been announced in a public letter addressed to Endri Fuga, a close advisor to PM Edi Rama, by the Russian Embassy in Tirana.
“We would like to inform you that the Russian Direct Investment Fund (https://rdif.ru/Eng_Index/) has been authorized to negotiate with countries that are interested in purchasing vaccines against COVID-19. We have no doubt that Russia is ready to bring its “Sputnik-V” vaccine to Albania as well,” said the letter posted on social networks on Monday.
The letter points out that vaccination with “Sputnik-V” has already begun in Russia and Argentina, while more than 50 countries have applied to buy 1.2 billion doses of the drug.
Further on the letter said that in any case the Russian Embassy repeats the previously posted information on the features and advantages of “Sputnik-V” compared to a series of other vaccines.
