The Council of Albanian Ambassadors ( CAA) hails the establishment of the new Government of the Republic of Kosovo that emerged from the free and democratic elections held on 14 February 2021.
While congratulating the new Government and its Prime Minister, H.E. Albin Kurti, for the confidence entrusted on them by the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo at the Session held on 22 March 2021, the CAA expresses its trust and expectation that the Government led by Mr. Kurti and the whole Kosovo political spectrum will successfully meet the major challenges that the Republic of Kosovo is facing, both in the domestic and international respect.
The Council of Albanian Ambassadors is pleased to emphasize that in terms of this democratic process, the Kosovo citizens and political forces have manifested a high democratic culture and a consolidated political maturity.
Thanks to managing an election process with an entirely democratic spirit, receiving the vote in favor for the Government at the relevant Assembly session characterized by parliamentary debates and the governing transition by hand-over& admitting the office in a very dignified manner, the Republic of Kosovo has set a pattern for our whole region.
The Council of Albanian Ambassadors hopes and believes that this democratic spirit and political dialogue will be the common denominator for all other political processes lying ahead for Kosovo, including the appointments and establishment of the other state institutions
Likewise, on the Anniversary of the NATO intervention to stop the Serbian genocide against Albanians of Kosovo, the best message that Kosovo could convey to the democratic world is the very advancement of the state of Kosovo by vigorously embracing the principles of freedom and democracy, as sublime values of the Euro – Atlantic space.
