Kosovo prime minister Avdullah Hoti has asked for resignation of the chief of Kosovo Intelligence Agency (KIA), Kreshnik Gashi, has reported Gazeta Express.
“The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Mr. Avdullah Hoti, asked Mr. Kreshnik Gashi to release his duty as director of the Kosovo Intelligence Agency (KIA),” the Prime Minister’s Office said in a statement without providing further details released on Thursday.
Kreshnik Gashi was appointed as director of the KIA by former president Hashim Thaci and former prime minister Ramush Haradinaj on 25 November 2019. Before his appointment as chief of intelligence Gashi served in several senior position in public sector. /argumentum.al
