The Albanian Catholic Church has announced that the Archbishop of Tirana and Durrës, George Frendo, has been urgently hospitalized after the deterioration of his health by Covid.
Following is the announcement:
We inform you that Monsignor George Frendo O.P., Archbishop of Tirana-Durrës and at the same time President of the Episcopal Conference of Albania has been under medical monitoring for several days because he tested positive with Covid 19.
With the recommendation of the doctors, tonight, it was decided that Monsignor Frendo will be hospitalized, due to some respiratory complications during the day.
We ask for your prayers for Monsignor Frendo and wish him a speedy recovery.
