Acting President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, will pay on Wednesday a three-day official visit to Albania, her first as president.
Through a press release, it has been announced that Osmani will stay in Albania for three days, where he will meet with Albanian political leaders, including those of the opposition and will deliver a speech in the Albanian Parliament.
“Acting President of the Republic of Kosovo, at the same time Speaker of the Assembly of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, from December 16-18 will be in Albania, on the first official visit since taking office. During her stay in Albania, the Acting President of the Republic of Kosovo, Mrs. Osmani will hold a series of meetings,” it is said in the announcement.
At the outset of the visit on Wednesday she will pay tribute to the memorial of Gjergj Kastriot Skënderbeu in the town of Lezha.
Afterwards, the Acting President will be received with a state ceremony by the President of the Republic of Albania, Ilir Meta and after the talks they will hold a joint press conference.
Besides meetings with all leaders she will address Albania Parliament. It is announced President Osmani will also have a meeting with the former President of the Republic of Albania, Sali Berisha./argumentum.al
